Faridat Ogundairo The Kano State Government has authorized the expenditure of N1.4 billion to cover examination fees for qualified Indigent students. The Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Muhammad Garba, disclosed this at a press briefing  held at the Government House in Kano after  the council meeting. The state’s Executive Council has approved the release of funds totaling N1,403,936,600 to sponsor 60,871 qualified indigent students from secondary schools for various examinations, including NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS, and SSCE.
