A nursing mother, Damilola Opeyemi has been remanded in Abolongo correctional centre in Oyo Town for stabbing her husband to death over dinner. A Magistrates’ Court sitting at Iyaganku in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on Monday, gave the order on Monday. The prosecutor, Inspector Olalekan Adegbite, told the court that Opeyemi, at about 8: 30 p.m., on July 4, stabbed her husband to death. Fawaz Adebisi The Lagos State police command has said that operatives of the state Rapid Response Squad (RRS) has nabbed a suspected cultist, Idris Ayinla, as it also recovered a pistol from him. Four members of a drug syndicate including two church officials have been arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency for allegedly trafficking lethal opioid, fentanyl, in Warri, Delta State. Israel Adeleke The Police Service Commission (PSC) has dismissed three senior police officers due to their involvement in misconduct and abuse of office.
