Adetutu Sobowale The Peoples Democratic Party’s Senator Ademola Adeleke has been confirmed as the rightful Governor of Osun state by the Supreme Court. A panel of five judges, headed by Justice Emmanuel Akomaye Agim, dismissed the appeal brought by the All Progressives Congress candidate, Gboyega Oyetola, for the 2022 Governorship Candidate. The court found that Oyetola was unable to demonstrate any instances of over-voting.

There was a mild drama in Enugu State when some fleeing suspected robbers abandoned a locally fabricated cut-to-size gun loaded with one live cartridge. The weapon was reportedly recovered from police operatives at New Artisan area of the State. Spokesperson for Enugu Police Command, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, disclosed this in a statement on Monday.
