An Ondo state High Courthqs sentenced a 78-year-old man, Ojo Komolafe, to death for Killing Ondo Proprietor, Taofik Babalola. The convict was said to have shot Babalola to death on August 7, 2021, at Kajola Community in Odigbo Local Government Area of the state while he was sleeping. Thereafter, he was arrested by the men of the state police command and charged to court on a two-count bothering on murder. The Norwegian Government has committed an additional $4.5 million in support of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation’s humanitarian activities in addressing the lingering crisis in the northeastern part of Nigeria. The FAO Representative in Nigeria and the Economic Community of West African States, Fred Kafeero, stated during the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding ceremony between the UN body and the Norwegian government in Abuja.
