The Ogun State Chapter of the Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria ,FIBAN, has constituted a caretaker committee to steer the association pending the conduct of a fresh election . The association at its congress  held on Tuesday, at the Association’s secretariat, Nawar-Ul-Deen in Abeokuta, sacked all the executive members and replaced them with caretaker committee following some crises in the association. Peace Adedigba A Magistrate Court, sitting in Makurdi, Benue  State,on Tuesday, remanded  23 persons in a correctional centre for allegedly causing crisis in Oju Local Government Area of Benue state The defendants were charged with  criminal conspiracy, culpable homicide, inciting public disturbance, mischief by fire, illegal possession of firearms and acts of terrorism. Fawaz Adebisi A Sexual Offence and Domestic Violence Court, in Ikeja has sentenced a man, Eniola Ibrahim, to life imprisonment for raping his girlfriend. The court said it was established that  Ibrahim raped his girlfriend in his residence at Lateef Dosumu street of the state, in June 2021.
