The IMF which described the adoption as “not an unexpected outcome” blamed the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for using a less effective approach. No fewer than 37 parents of the missing girls in Chibok Community in Borno State have lost their lives to heartbreak since 2014. In April 2014, 276 schoolgirls were kidnapped from a government secondary school in Chibok, a town in Borno State.
