Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, has urged African countries to pool their resources together toward forming stronger pan-African economic ties. No fewer than four persons were  burnt to death while  eight others seriously injured in an auto crash that occurred on Monday,  around 2:pm, at RCC, Ogbere, Ore-Ijebu Ode Expressway. The crash reportedly involved  a white Toyota Hiace bus with the registration number XA690AKU. Confirming the crash, spokesperson for the Federal Road Safety Corps’ Ogun Sector Command, Florence Okpe, disclosed that  18 persons were involved in the accident. At least three Christian worshipers have been killed following an unprovoked attack by daredevil bandits in Bakinpah-Maro, a community in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State. About 31 persons including a pastor were also kidnapped when the assailants launched the attack targeting ECWA and Catholic churches in the community. Two young women, Doris Nelson and Winner Ugochukwu, have been rescued from the baby factory residence of one Nnanna Michael in the Ariaria area of Aba, Abia State. The air component of Operation Delta Safe conducted two separate missions targeting specific sites along the Imo River, including the areas of Owaza, Uzaku, Obuzor, Osuaku, and Obiaku. The traditional head of Kofare Wauru Jabbe in Yola South Local Government Area, Adamawa State, the Mai Jimilla, Bashiru Ahmadu, has commenced a regime of night patrols with youths and local security guards around his community. The Yobe State Government has confirmed four persons dead from acute diarrhoea in Gujba Local Government Area. The State Commissioner for Health, Dr Lawan Gana, made this disclosure to newsmen in Damaturu on Monday. Gana said the disease was detected in Jangalawaji and Tadandara settlements in Gujba Ward.
