The Yobe State Police Command says the body of a 25-year-old man murdered by unknown persons has been recovered in the Nayi-Nawa area of Damaturu. Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have seized 2.4 million tramadol pills in Gombe State. The NDLEA’s Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, made the announcement in Abuja on Sunday. According to Babafemi, the operation, carried out on September 14, led to the arrest of three suspects on the Bauchi-Gombe road. They were apprehended while traveling in a truck marked GME 552 ZU. The Deputy Inspector General of Police, Frank Mba, has said orderlies and VIP protection will be deactivated 48 hours to the Edo State governorship election.
