Medical doctors in Anambra State have suspended the indefinite strike they declared on Thursday after three days. The doctors under the aegis of Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) had declared the strike, following the kidnap of one of their colleagues. The Niger State Commissioner of Police Shawulu Ebenezer Danmamman has ordered the destruction of improvised explosive devices and bombs recovered from various locations during multiple counter-insurgency operations with other security agencies in the state.
