Operatives of the Bauchi Police Command have arrested a 37-year-old Islamic teacher for allegedly abducting two Almajiri boys from Katsina, after luring them with false promises of financial support. The National Bureau of Statistics, NBS, disclosed this in its latest selected food price watch for July 2024. The Nigeria Police Force said it has detained 97 members of the proscribed Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), also known as Shiites, for prosecution, following a clash in Abuja on Sunday.
