The father of a 19-year-old undergraduate of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA), Andrel Eloho Okah, has recounted the heartbreaking circumstances surrounding the abduction, rape and murder of his daughter by suspected kidnappers in Ekiti State. The Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Ministry of Health, Dr Olusegun Ogboye, has revealed that ambulance workers across the state are routinely subjected to attacks by mentally unstable individuals, hoodlums, and miscreants while on emergency duties. A 10-year-old boy was on Friday tragically killed by a stray bullet while a woman sustained serious injuries during a wedding celebration in the Magama Jibia area of Katsina State. The Kebbi State Police Command has arrested no fewer than 11 suspects for allegedly sexually abusing and impregnating a 13 years old unsound mind girl in the state.
