The Federal Government has approved stringent penalties for anyone found guilty of leaking or attempting to leak internal documents, communications, or institutional data belonging to the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), which will be renamed the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) from January 2026. The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Retail Limited has dismissed a pump attendant and suspended a station manager after an alleged attempt to cheat a customer at one of its outlets in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
