The Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the freezing of bank accounts belonging to 32 individuals and companies allegedly linked to the #EndBadGovernance protests that swept across Nigeria.  The ruling was delivered by Justice Emeka Nwite following an ex-parte motion filed by the counsel representing the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Mohammed. The Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman, has disclosed that over 22,500 Nigerians are currently parading fake degrees obtained from unaccredited universities in Benin Republic and Togo.  The Minister made this startling announcement during a press conference in Abuja to mark his first year in office. Prof. Mamman revealed that between 2019 and 2023, approximately 21,600 Nigerians secured fraudulent degrees from unaccredited institutions in Benin Republic, while another 1,105 obtained similar fake qualifications from Togo.
