The United States has delivered military equipment to the Nigerian Air Force as part of efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s capacity to combat terrorism and other security threats. The US Africa Command disclosed this on Thursday, saying a US Air Force C-17 transport aircraft delivered the equipment to Nigeria over the weekend. The Nigeria Immigration Service has intercepted two persons in Adamawa State with N34 million in cash allegedly linked to a kidnapping syndicate. The suspects were arrested while in possession of the money during an operation in the state, the Adamawa State Comptroller of Immigration, Sani Sule-Jega, disclosed on Wednesday.
