The Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to investigate cases of electoral violence, bribery, vote-buying, and conspiracy during the 2023 general election. The suit, which was filed by the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project, (SERAP), had sought for the prosecution of suspected perpetrators of electoral offences and their sponsors. The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) has announced the rescue of another group of 58 Nigerian women and children from human traffickers in Ghana.  This latest operation brings the total number of rescued Nigerians in Accra to 105 in the past three months.
