Operatives of the Federal Capital Territory Police Command have arrested a 40-year-old man, Yahaya Saleh, for allegedly attempting to bribe police investigators with N1.5 million in a bid to secure the release of a suspected kidnapper. In a statement issued on Wednesday by the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, the command said the arrest was made by officers of the Scorpion Squad, who are currently investigating a notorious kidnapping syndicate operating within the FCT and neighbouring states.
