The Lagos State Police Command has dragged  two individuals, Sunday Oladapo and Kafayat Oyelakin, before the Ebutte Meta Magistrate Court in Lagos for allegedly impersonating medical practitioners and defrauding a resident of Jakande Estate, Sola Ajose, of N80 million. Oladapo and Oyelakin were arraigned on a seven-count charge that includes false representation, conspiracy to commit a felony, and obtaining money under false pretences.  The police prosecutor, Austin Nwabuisi, informed the court that Oladapo falsely claimed to be a practising medical doctor.  He reportedly administered injections to Ajose, diagnosing him with diabetes. A Chief magistrates’ court in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital, handed down a three-month prison sentence to Kabiru Lawal, 35, for the theft of goats and a ram.  Lawal had earlier pleaded guilty to the charges of stealing and fraudulent conversion.
