The development, confirmed in a letter dated April 30, 2025, covers key courses such as Medicine, Pharmacy, Law, Computer Science, and several others. The letter was signed by the NUC’s Director of Accreditation, Engr. Abraham Chundusu. A total of 14 programmes received full accreditation, including Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Mass Communication, Sociology, and International Relations. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), announcing that the results of 39,834 candidates have been withheld for various reasons. According to a statement released on Friday, the board disclosed that out of the 2,030,862 candidates who registered for the examination across 882 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide, only 1,957,000 candidates were accredited for the exam. The Federal Government has commenced discussions to facilitate the safe and dignified return of at least 15,000 Nigerians currently stranded in countries such as Cameroon, Niger and Chad.
