Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court Abuja has granted an interim order to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to freeze 1,146 bank accounts connected to individuals and companies. A man known as Baale or Radical, has reportedly taken his own life following a distressing eviction notice due to unpaid rent.  Baale, residing in a modest room on Moshalashi Road, Egan, Igando, tragically ended his life on Sunday night by consuming a poisonous substance suspected to be insecticide. The Delta High Court in Effurun on Monday ordered a foremost blogger, Linda Ikeji, N30 million as general damage to the Neo Black Movement (NBM) of Africa for libelous publication. The NBM and three others slammed a N1 billion lawsuit against Ikeji, for defamation and libel. The lawsuit had the Registered Trustees of NBM of Africa, Ese Kakor, Felix Kupa and Mayor Onyebueke as the claimants.
