A  police inspector, Dasu Kassa, was found dead at his residence in Anguwan Yungur, Girei Local Government Area of Adamawa State.  Kassa’s lifeless body was discovered on Monday evening, and preliminary reports suggest he may have taken his own life due to financial difficulties. The Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC) has dismissed the timetable and electoral guidelines circulating on social media regarding the 2024 Local Government Elections for Chairmanship and Councilorship positions. The Federal High Court in Abuja has dismissed a high-profile lawsuit filed by the family of Nigeria’s former Head of State, General Sani Abacha.  The suit sought to prevent the revocation of the late military ruler’s property located in the  Maitama District of Abuja and demanded N500 million in damages.
