The National Youth Service Corps has denied the allegation over high food prices and alleged encouragement for corps members to leave orientation camps due to food shortage. In a series of brutal attacks in Kauru and Igabi local government areas of Kaduna State, nine lives were lost and 35 individuals, including a retired Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) director, his brother, and sister-in-law, were kidnapped by unidentified gunmen.
