The Katsina State Hisbah Board has seized about 142 cartons of alcohol intended for delivery to Daura Local Government Area of the state. The state Hisbah Commander, Dr Aminu Usman, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Katsina on Saturday. A  29-year-old passenger, Ayemobola Mojadesola, and her mother have reportedly assaulted an airport staff member over a borrowed pen. Sources at the airport disclosed that the incident began as a minor disagreement when the aviation worker requested the return of her pen, which had been borrowed by Mojadesola but could not be found.  PLATFORM TIMES gathered that the  argument quickly escalated, leading to both Mojadesola and her mother attacking the worker, causing injuries to her face, particularly near her eye socket. Daud Olatunji Multiple suicide attacks rocked Gwoza town in Borno State on Saturday, leading to the death of  about  30 people and injuring over 100 others.  The Emir of Gwoza, Alhaji Mohammed Shehu Timta, confirmed the incidents, which he said  targeted a wedding reception and a burial ceremony.
