Impeachment proceedings against Ondo State Deputy Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa have been temporarily halted by the Ondo State House of Assembly.  This decision comes in response to the refusal of Chief Judge Olusegun Odusola to set up a panel for the impeachment exercise, citing a Federal High Court order. Wisdom Silas Members of a quasi-security outfit in Bauchi have allegedly beaten a suspect, Yohanna Abubakar, 35, to death during interrogation for allegedly stealing a manhood. The suspect, Abubakar, was arrested alongside Bitrus Iliya, 27, and Joshua Yahana, 30, by the security men.
