In a recent operation, the Ogun State Community, Social Orientation, and Safety Corps, known as So-Safe Corps, has  successfully apprehended two individuals involved in the burglary and theft of electricity cables and wires valued at four million naira in Ogun State. In a recent wave of cult clashes in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, four lives were tragically lost, and several individuals sustained gunshot injuries.  The violence erupted last weekend as rival cult groups engaged in a blood feud across different parts of the city. The clashes began on Thursday when Dare, a suspected leader of the Eiye confraternity, was fatally shot in front of his home in the Ijeja area of Abeokuta. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Olayemi Cardoso, unveiled startling findings as an audit revealed $2.4 billion in invalid foreign exchange claims within the $7 billion backlog.  In an exclusive interview with Arise News Channel on Monday, Cardoso affirmed the CBN’s commitment to addressing the issue. Enoch Oyedibu In what appeared to be a sordid act, Ogbomoso-based Evangelist Segun Adegboyega was gruesomely murdered by Fulani herdsmen after he complained about their use of animals to graze his farm yard.
