The Federal High Court in Kano, has ordered the immediate removal of Barrister Muhuyi Magaji Rimingado, Chairman of the Kano State Public Complaint and Anti-Corruption Commission (PCACC), following charges of alleged fraud. Justice. Simon Amobeda’s judgement not only calls for Rimingado’s dismissal but also mandates the Nigerian Police to withdraw all personnel assigned to him. A Kebbi High Court 7, sitting in Birnin Kebbi, presided by Justice Shamsudeen Jafar, has sentenced three people to life imprisonment for raping an 18-year-old married woman (deaf). The convicts are; Amiru Sani, Aliyu Umar and Bashar Dan-Inno of Wararin Zaromawa village. A 28-year-old man, Kingsley Okoye, has  lost his life in a shocking incident in Okpuno Umuogali, Oba community, Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State.  The sequence of events leading to Kingsley’s death began with a family dispute over property and resources.  According to a witness and cousin to the deceased, Kosisochukwu Samuel Uzoekwe, Joseph had previously sold a shared family property without giving Kingsley his share of the proceeds.  This left Kingsley in a precarious financial situation, struggling to make ends meet.  Desperate and hungry, Kingsley reportedly sold three doors from Joseph’s newly constructed house without permission…
