The Federal Government has approved stringent penalties for anyone found guilty of leaking or attempting to leak internal documents, communications, or institutional data belonging to the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), which will be renamed the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) from January 2026.
