A 48-year-old man, Charles Chukwudi, has been arrested by police for  allegedly forging stamps of Lagos Magistrates and impersonating a police officer.  Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed this, saying, the arrest   follows a series of discreet investigations by the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID). Festus Daumiebi, an indigene of Igbomotoru community in Bayelsa State, has filed a lawsuit against the Nigerian Army, Chief of Army Staff Lt. Gen. The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court sitting in Zuba, Abuja, has prohibited Dr. Christopher Otabor, the Managing Director of Alliance Hospital, from leaving Nigeria amid ongoing legal proceedings.  Dr. Otabor is accused of involvement in an organ harvesting scheme, along with three of his staff members. Six Nigerian soldiers  lost their lives on Wednesday, in an auto crash while responding to a distress call regarding a Boko Haram attack.  PLATFORM TIMES gathered that the  soldiers were part of Operation Hadin Kai, the major military operation against Boko Haram insurgents in Borno State. The  Senate has  convened a secret session on Thursday to discuss a bill aimed at changing the nation’s anthem.  PLATFORM TIMES reports that the  proposal seeks to replace the current anthem with “Nigeria, We Hail Thee,” the country’s first national anthem adopted on October 1, 1960, but later replaced in 1978 under the military regime of Olusegun Obasanjo. This is according to the NBS Statistical Report on Women and Men in Nigeria 2022 released in Abuja on Wednesday.
