Magistrate Abimbola Morakinyo of the Magistrate Court 6 in Isabo,Abeokuta, Ogun State,  has refused the application of the police to remand suspected land grabber, Kehinde Lateef Kudaisi, at the Ibara Correctional Centre in Abeokuta. The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has enforced disciplinary measures against five students following incidents of misconduct on campus.  In an official statement released on Monday, the institution’s Director of Corporate Affairs, Kunle Akogun, announced that the students faced expulsion and rustication after a thorough review by the Students’ Disciplinary Committee.  Akogun said the Vice-Chancellor approved the recommendations on July 5, 2024.
