The management of Legacy FM 95.1, a private radio station in Ebonyi State, has suspended its Acting General Manager, Godfrey Chikwere, over alleged “unruly behaviour” and violation of the station’s code of conduct. The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Retail Limited has dismissed a pump attendant and suspended a station manager after an alleged attempt to cheat a customer at one of its outlets in Ikorodu, Lagos State. The company said the disciplinary action followed an internal investigation triggered by a viral social media video showing the pump attendant’s suspicious conduct. The National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM), Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Aro, Abeokuta unit, has condemned what it described as “baseless and malicious” allegations made against it by the Ogun State chapter of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA).
