No fewer than 23 inmates of the Enugu Custodial Centre bagged Masters, first degree and Post Graduate Diploma of the National Open University of Nigeria on Saturday. In a swift response to an attempted invasion, security personnel apprehended 20 suspected Yoruba nation agitators at the Oyo State Government Secretariat, Agodi in Ibadan.  The state Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso disclosed this in a statement. Daud Olatunji The management of Babcock University Teaching Hospital (BUTH) has voiced concern over the abandonment of one of its patients,  Maurice Okpenyong. PLATFORM TIMES gathered that the patient was abandoned by his children, who have reportedly  disappeared after signing his discharge in December 2023. Okpenyong, a resident of Obot Akara Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom, was  reportedly brought to the hospital by his son, identified as  Lawrence and a daughter. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has cautioned Nigerians against the mutilation of naira notes, threatening to convict naira abusers like Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky.  Bobrisky was convicted and sentenced to six months in jail without an option of fine for abusing Naira.  EFCC stated this on its social media platforms, reiterating that non-compliance with the directive could lead to legal consequences.  The agency in its message wrote, “Say No To Abuse of the Naira.
