A Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the remand of Mrs. Tosin Olagunju, an official of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), in Suleja Prison, Niger State.  Olagunju faces allegations of obtaining N12,400,000.00 from job seekers under false pretenses, with the promise of securing them employment. Arraigned on a four-count charge, Olagunju pleaded not guilty to all charges.  The charges include defrauding Nigerians by false pretences, criminal conspiracy, dishonestly converting funds for personal use, and fraudulent inducement. Terrorists in Kaduna have demanded  N300 million ransom  over  a kidnapped female judge, Janet Galadima after killing her eldest son. An Osun State High Court sitting in Ede has convicted and sentenced five men to death by hanging for the kidnapping and murder of Alhaji Ibrahim Adamu, a prominent Fulani man. Five police officers attached to the Zone 6 Police Headquarters in Cross River State have been arrested  for allegedly abducting and extorting the sum of N3million  from a victim.  PLATFORM TIMES gathered that the  incident occurred while the officers were on patrol along the Ikom-Calabar highway.
