The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has taken a significant step by raising the prices of electricity meters under the Meter Assets Programme (MAP).  This decision was communicated through an official order issued by NERC Chairman, Engr. In a significant development at the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal, the European Union Election Observers Mission report concerning the 25th February presidential election has been rejected.  This report had been submitted by Peter Obi and the Labour Party. Between August 26 and September 1, 2023, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) reported a staggering 150 crude oil theft incidents, primarily concentrated in Bayelsa, Rivers, Imo, and Delta states.  This revelation was made through a video shared on the company’s official Twitter account on Tuesday, September 5.
