In a tense confrontation, three members of the Amotekun corps in Osun sustained injuries during a gun battle with herdsmen in the state. The incident unfolded in Kajola village, Atakumosa-West local government area, where farmers reported herdsmen destroying their crops to feed their cattle. A Federal High Court, Abuja has restrained the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission from inviting or investigating Brigadier General Charles Nengite over alleged money laundering offence during his secondment to the Niger Delta Development Commission. Justice Obiora Egwuatu made an order of perpetual injunction restraining the EFCC from probing him on Wednesday.
