The police command in Yobe, say suspected Boko Haram insurgents have destroyed two 330 KVA power transmission towers in the state, plunging residents of Borno and Yobe into darkness. A Federal High Court in Lagos has directed the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) to disclose the revenue generated from toll gates and parking lots fees at all Federal Government-owned airports.  The court order extends from January 2015 to January 2024, and the presiding judge, Justice Ibrahim Kala, has given FAAN a three-month timeline to comply. In a heartbreaking incident in Kwara State, Fasasi Afeez, a 49-year-old man, lost his life while attempting to rescue his son, Kaleed, from a well in Gaa Jongbo, Maselu village, Offa Local Government Area. The 17-year-old boy, Kaleed, was drawing water from the well when tragedy struck – his leg slipped, causing him to fall into the well.
