The police on Wednesday brought a 20-year-old man, Monday Ojo, before an Ado-Ekiti Chief Magistrates’ Court for alleged housebreaking and stealing of a pot of soup and other items. The defendant, who has no fixed address, is standing trial on a two-count charge of housebreaking and stealing. He, however, pleaded not guilty. A man, Ojo Oladeji has been sentenced  to life imprisonment for defiling an 11-year-old minor three times. PLATFORM TIMES reports that the convict committed the offence in an uncompleted building. Justice Rahman Oshodi of the Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court delivered the judgement  on Wednesday . The tranquility of Oda, Akure was shattered as a 17-year-old girl, identified only as Wumi, stands accused of committing a heinous act.  The Ondo State Police Command confirmed the arrest of Wumi for allegedly stabbing her foster mother, Mrs. Funmilayo Adelayi, to death.
