The life-saving procedures were carried out on Tuesday at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, under the Uplift Development Foundation, her health-focused charity initiative. The surgeries followed a large-scale cancer screening exercise conducted in September 2025, where over 600 women were screened. The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Moshood Jimoh, on Monday declared human rights activist and publisher, Omoyele Sowore, wanted for allegedly inciting public disturbance during protests against building demolitions in Oworonshoki.
