In the early hours of Saturday, militants from the Islamic State West Africa Province, ISWAP, launched a deadly attack on Geidam town in Yobe State, killing one resident and causing widespread destruction, according to multiple sources. About 44 suspected internet fraudsters have been arrested at different locations of Enugu and Anambra States. The arrest was carried out by Operatives of the Enugu Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
