The Katsina State High Court has dismissed a suit seeking to remove Umar Iliya Damagum as the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. An Ikeja High Court on Thursday sentenced a motorcyclist, Monday Olukunle (alias Seaman), to seven years imprisonment for abducting a 16-year-old girl in an uncompleted building. Justice Oyindamola Ogala in her judgement convicted Olukunle of the charge of conspiracy and abduction. Ogala, however, discharged the convict of the charge of defilement.
