The Nigerian government through the Bank of Industry, BoI, said it disbursed loans amounting to N77.65 billion to businesses especially medium, small and micro-enterprises, MSMEs, in the last nine months of 2024. The Federal Government on Wednesday called on Nigerians residing in Lebanon to leave the country amid attacks on Hezbollah and other areas by the Israeli forces. The Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, Africa CDC, has confirmed that Rwanda is battling an outbreak of Marburg Virus Disease, MVD, with 27 cases and nine deaths reported as of September 30, 2024.
