Executive members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Bukkuyum local government area of Zamfara State have sacked the party chairmy, Alhaji Sala Umar. According to official letter sent to the party’s headquarters in Gusau, the leadership of the council had on 23rd September, 2024, passed a vote of no confidence on the party chairman, at a meeting attended by two-third of members. The letter was signed by Nura Yusuf, Acting Secretary, Musa Muhammad, Legal Adviser and Salisu Adamu, Ward Chairman.
