The Federal Ministry of Works has announced the commencement of the rehabilitation of the failed sections on the Benin-Asaba highway. The Federal Controller of Works in Delta, Mr Matthew Ogar, made this announcement on Wednesday in Asaba. Ogar said that the deplorable sections of the highway would be fixed in the next seven days. Twenty-One suspected internet fraudsters were on Tuesday arrested in Yola, Adamawa State. Operatives of the Gombe Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, made the arrest on Tuesday. The anti-graft agency said the suspects were arrested at different locations around Modibo Adamawa University, Yola. Items recovered at the points of arrest include 13 phones, 12 Android phones, one laptop and one tablet phone. EFCC added that the suspects would soon be charged in court.
