Former President Goodluck Jonathan, on Thursday, denied sacking the Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi as Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, for alleging that $49.8 billion went missing from the country’s coffers. Jonathan said Sanusi was suspended because the Financial Reporting Council queried CBN’s expenditure and his tenure elapsed. Bayelsa Queens have beefed up their squad with three players ahead of the new season. The new players are Oscar Precious, Confidence Onen and Yinusa Zainab. Popular activist and social media influencer, Martins Vincent Otse aka VeryDarkMan, had released an audio of Bobrisky offering N15 million to the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
