Operatives of the Ondo State Security Network Agency, otherwise known as Amotekun Corps, have arrested two kidnap suspects in the state. The kingpins were arrested after abducting four victims along the dreaded Owo/Ose highway. While parading the suspects at the corps headquarters in Akure, the state capital, the Commander, Adetunji Adeleye, disclosed that he personally led the operatives, in collaboration with some local hunters, to arrest the suspected kidnappers and rescue the victims. Ogun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, has condemned what it called the abduction of its member, Seun Odunlami, by operatives of the Nigeria Police from Lagos Command. The condemnation was contained in a statement signed by the council’s Secretary, Bunmi Adigun, on Thursday in Abeokuta.
