Some Electricity Consumers in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT have decried the transfer of their tariff to Band A even when they do not receive up to 20 hours of power supply daily. The House of Representatives on Tuesday suspended its plenary session in honour of the late Senator Ifeanyi Uba. Uba passed away in London on the 27th of July during the National Assembly’s annual long recess. A 43-year-old man, Adekunle Abodunrin, on Tuesday, appeared before a Badagry Chief Magistrates’ Court, Lagos, for alleged N1.8 million fraud. Abodunrin, whose address was not provided, is facing a three-count charge of fraud, stealing and breach of peace. He pleaded not guilty to the charges.
