Nigeria’s currency, the Naira depreciated by 51.5 percent against the dollar at the official market in the last year under Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, governor, Olayemi Cardoso. This comes as Cardoso clocked a year in office after his appointment on September 15, 2023. This comes after an old video titled ‘EFCC and Army Wahala’ started making the rounds again on social media. The Edo State Chapter of the Labour Party, LP, Mr Kelly Ogbalo, says the party would have won the state governorship election if the election was conducted in a free and fair manner. Ogbalo made this allegation in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN in Benin on Monday.
