Five persons have reportedly died in a fatal accident that involved a commercial bus and a gas tanker in Ile-Ife, Osun State, on Thursday. The accident had caused gridlock leading to travellers being trapped along Ife/Ibadan/Lagos Expressway. Casualties from the accident were confirmed by the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, spokesman, Kehinde Adeleke in a statement he made available to journalists on Friday. According to the statement, 17 persons travelling in a commercial bus were involved in the accident.
