Two persons have reportedly died following a clash between the Nigeria Police Force and Shiite protesters at Wuse Market, in the Wuse Zone 6 axis of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. Troops of Forward Operations Base in Potiskum, Yobe State have arrested a 40-year-old man for attempting to smuggle recently distributed farm machineries out of the state. Katsina State Government has dissolved the management of Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side Katsina United. The State Acting Governor, Faruq Lawal announced the dissolution in a letter signed by the Head of Civil Service, Abubakar Saminu. Lawal urged the Chanji Boys management to hand over the documents of the club to the new team in-charge. He explained that the dissolution of the board was due to a report submitted from last season.
