Manchester City midfielder, Rodri, has claimed people believe he is going to win the 2024 Ballon d’Or award.
Rodri is one of the frontrunners for the prize along with Real Madrid’s duo of Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham.
The Spain midfielder won the Premier League with City for a fourth consecutive season and led his country to glory at Euro 2024.
Rodri is also looking to end a 64-year wait for the Ballon d’Or in his nation.
He told ESPN: “In the street, people say to me ‘you’re going to win the Ballon d’Or. You deserve it.
“For me, that means I’m already a winner.”
