Armed bandits causing mayhem in parts of Katsina State have attacked the Dan-Ali, a community in Danmusa Local Government Area of Katsina State, affecting several mosques.
DAILY POST gathered that the assailants carried out the heinous attacks on Friday while worshippers were observing the Jummat prayers.
According to reports, the bandits, who were wielding dangerous weapons invaded the community and started shooting sporadically, chasing worshipers away from the mosques.
It cannot be ascertained at the moment how many residents were kidnapped by the daredevil criminals during the incident.
Efforts by DAILY POST to reach the Katsina State Police Command were unsuccessful as the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Abubakar Sadiq could not be reached.
