CAFWCL: Edo Queens draw Mamelodi Sundowns, two debutants in Group B
Nigerian champions, Edo Queens have been drawn in Group B of the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League, DAILY POST reports.
Moses Aduku’s side will face holders Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, CBE FC of Ethiopia and Egypt’s Tutankhamun in the group.
Hosts AS FAR of Morocco, TP Mazembe of Congo Democratic Republic, Aigles de la Medina of Senegal and South Africa’s University of the Western Cape are drawn in Group A.
Edo Queens will face Ethiopia’s CBE FC in their opening fixture of the competition on Saturday November 10, 2024.
The Benin City club will be making their maiden appearance in the competition.
Morocco will host the competition from November 9 to November 23, 2024.
