The Christ Apostolic Grammar School Old Students Association (CAGSOSA) has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Rt. Hon. Adewunmi Oriyomi-Onanuga, who served as the Deputy Chief Whip at the Federal House of Assembly, Abuja, and represented the Sagamu/Ikenne/Remo North Federal Constituency.
In a statement signed by Prince Gaffar Adesoga Owokalade on behalf of the association’s National Executives, the group extended condolences to the Federal House of Assembly, the people of Ogun State, particularly her constituency, and her immediate family.
The National President of CAGSOSA, Mr. Armstrong ‘Tope Akintunde, alongside other executives and members, described Onanuga’s passing as an “irreplaceable loss” to her family, Ogun State, and the nation at large.
They lauded her for her remarkable dedication and service to her constituency’s development, noting her significant impact on the lives of many.
“We pray for the peaceful repose of her soul and that God grants her family and loved ones the strength and fortitude to bear this great loss. May her soul rest in perfect peace,” the statement read.
Rt. Hon. Adewunmi Oriyomi-Onanuga was widely respected for her leadership and contributions to legislative progress. Her demise has left a void in Ogun State’s political landscape and the Federal House of Assembly.
Her legacy of service and commitment to the people will be fondly remembered.
